For Admission to many of CDAC's Post Graduation Diploma Courses, CDAC conducts C-CAT (Computerized Common Admission Test)
exam twice a year, in June (for August admissions) and December (for February admissions).
Candidates have to register on cdac website in order to fill CCAT form.

CDAC C-CAT Exam Pattern
CDAC CCAT exam questions are divided into 3 Sections, Section A, Section B and Section C. Out of these Section A & Section B
are compulsary to all. The candidates who want to do electronics related courses such as embedded or VLSI has to give
extra Section i.e. Section C.
Section A is to test Candidates logical and quantitative aptitude skills along with English language skills. Section B mainly consists of questions related to c programming, data structures, operating systems & basic computer fundamentals.
Section C consist of basic electronics related questions.
All the three sections consist of 50 questions. Each question has 4 options in exam out of which only one will be correct.
There is negative marking in CDAC enterance exam (CCAT). For a Every correct question 3 marks will be awarded & for a every wrong question 1 mark will be taken out. For all unaswered questions 0 marks will be awarded.
